They always said Ambulation will be a totally independant and seperate feature. You won't need to install it and you won't need to use it if you don't want to!
Even more so, that Ambulation will be run on a complete seperate server environment, so it won't have any impact on the Tranquility cluster whatsoever!
That's why all the Nay-sayers are such noobs and morons as they fail to read nor comprehent the clear information that has been given since the beginning. They are just plain trolling about something they clearly know nothing nor understand anything about and make unfounded assumptions based on nothing!
I am also one of the people looking forward to 'Ambulation'! As it will be awesome to walk around in Space Stations and talk to people in their real animated avatars! Even more so to be able to walk to the Space Dock and get a real feeling about the sheer size of your Ship :) Will be an awesome sight!
I am one of those old SWG vets that miss SWG pre-CU / Pre-NGE and I think Ambulation can give a bit of that feeling back. As there is no other decent Sci-Fi MMO around atm :(
Cheers

I don't know if this is meant to be synical? Instead of insta-hitting the reply button like your other troll-buddy. Check my post [39] and learn2Read!
Epic Fail on all these troll attempts. It's getting old.

I think what concerns a lot of people is whether the sheer amount of work poured into this is spent in the best interest of the game. I realize much of this stuff will be the core of that there White Wolf MMO but still, that's a lot of man hours gone to, basically, fluff.
And to anyone who doesn't think something like this is a huge undertaking, look at today's budgets for computer games. They spend millions of dollars, and put hundreds of people at work for several years for five-six hours of play time.
It's a complete different team working on this. So the same amount of people who were working on EVE itself before Ambulation are still working there. You still got Trinity? You still got Revelations? You still got Empyrean Age?
So I don't see the problem. 'Ambulation' will only make EVE stronger and more complete.
I am also looking forward to the idea of Planetary flight. Being able to fly over planet surfaces.
All these things will open up more gameplay possibilities within the EVE universe.
Cheers

Originally by: Lysianna CCP and EVE is about evolution. ItĘs the only game that has remain true to itĘs goal and pupose, itĘs the only game that delivered more then 80% of their promises. ItĘs also the only game that no one can deny as a masterpiece. Games like WOW and EQ2 will one day become a cute memory while EVE will be opening the Jovian space and EVE gate to Earth.
I donĘt know why some people are against ambulation but for me, itĘs the right step in the right direction. ItĘs one more layer of depth added to an already amazing game. ItĘs a chance to make EVE more open and welcome for new players and non-combat oriented people. All this will ensure that your game survives a few extra years.
The people crying about Ambulation will be the first one to cry when EVE finaly lay to rest.
Amen! Very well said Lysianna. It's exactly that!
